  • BTW IMO I think this was the best episode ever from the show. There was more action last night then all of last season.

But of course it was the best episode- it featured Big Frank's house. That was the reason for it being the best, kind of like Beag's house being in the Departed and then the movie wins an Oscar

    • This is too bizarre!!! Do you folks realize what soundtrack CD that Christopher Moltisante inserted into his cd player as he was driving just before he crashed and Tony finished him off. That was the CD for The Departed!

      • This episode was a true classic. On Howard Stern last month, Steven Van Zandt said the ending is brilliant.

        • Frank,
This episode was the best one yet.
The houses on your block are huge and very beautiful.
You’re very lucky to see them film this on your block and meet the cast of the Soprano’s.

I can’t wait to see your pic.

          • Frank,

I finally watched the episode but had not read this thread again to see which scene had your house in it. I will have to go back to my DVR this evening and find the scene to see your house.

Where were you and your party when all the filming was going on?

I can't wait for the final episode!

            • I agree it was the best episode in a looong time. And I kept waiting for Phil to get it, too, so it was nice to be surprised after all.

It was really neat to see it on tv, after having been there for at least part of the filming. Thanks again, Frank, for sharing that with us. My SO saw the episode before I did, and he said "you'll see exactly why they couldn't use Frank's house with the staircase hidden..." and he was sure right!

For most of the filming we were sitting in my driveway until they asked us to move because the house might be in it when Phil pulls into the driveway. The house came up twice for about 2 or 3 seconds each time.

And Frank even set up a tent (the kind on tall poles, not a pup tent) for everyone to stand under when it rained. What a guy!

                  • So What Happens To Tony?

What are the options left for Tony? Does he gets whacked? ....Arrested? ..... Or is he off into witness protection during next week's final episode?

I just hope Tony gets Phil before the show ends.

Does this mean that AJ becomes "Made"? ... That the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree and....AJ comes out of his funk and comes to Tony's rescue?

After all the speculation on how this ends based on the idea of how it would bridge to a movie, I heard an interesting rumor...

Don't worry about how the show ends... the movie will be a prequel.... so everyone getting whacked will be back, including Big Pussy to show us how it all started...

That would be a great way of unlinking the ending of the show from the movie and actually makes the most sense...

Then anything can happen on the last show....

I lean toward the witness protection program with the Soprano family in middle America, in a small bungelow in a tract development and we end the show with Tony, in his bathrobe, sitting on cheap old lawn chair in his 30'x30' backyard with an "out of the ground" pool... and a duck flys down and lands in the pool...

                            Pete

PS. Frank, these pics are great! It looks like it was a fun time... and the best is they even managed to fool the neighborhood. I hope you got one of those neat Sopranos director's chairs.....

No chair but I wonder if I placed a call I could get one so my wife can say now where are you putting this.

There are rumars here as well. One is there are 5 endings that were shot and no one not even Tony knows how it is going to end. Another One of the rumars was that Tony gets Phil and The Docs Doctor shots Tony.
