Frank did miss the annual consumer electronics show (CSE) which is one of the best to go to if you like little electronic gadgets or big TV screens too. We all know how Frank likes his little gadgets.

It was hard getting a decent hotel room anywhere this week in Las Vegas because of the CSE show but Frank got in right after the show.

What shows are you going to see this week, Frank? How is the weather? Is it still that cold? It is here.

While out there; maybe a FULL day trip to Zion and Bryce.

Drive up I-15 for 130 miles.
Take the UT-9 exit- EXIT 16- toward ZION NATL. PARK.
Site See through the NATL. PARK (about 30 miles) to MOUNT CARMEL.
Turn LEFT onto US-89. Travel 43 miles to US-12.
Turn RIGHT onto US-12. Travel 14 miles then
Turn RIGHT onto UT-63 to Bryce Canyon (about 4 miles)

Backtrack 80 miles via UT-14 over to I-15 at Cedar City, UT.
From there it is 170 miles back to Las Vegas.

Total Est. Time: 8 hours, 30 minutes Total Est. Distance: 495 miles
That's for driving only. Allow another six to get out and look around.
That allows no time for trail hiking... just look and go.

Hi guy's, I am on a PC Phone so it takes a while to type. I will answer all the questions when I get back. I had lost a bit in the afternoon. Then I was up prety big on Roulette at night. I ended up not cashing in and gave half back but I am a little a head. I am meeting up with Fern within the hour.

Robert, Zion and Bryce are pretty far.

Right around Las Vegas you have "Red Rock Canyon" or "Valley of Fire". They are beautiful areas too.

Met Frank for late breakfast/early lunch. Showed him "how the locals do it." We went to Village Pub, one of our local taverns (owned by the Ellis Island folks). We sat and talked and visited for quite a while. He's a nice guy, and we had a good time.

I drove down the Strip for Frank so he could take some pictures, and showed him where Fremont Street was, etc. You gotta know he's a sweetie, I don't travel down the Strip after noon on a weekend for just anybody

Fern believe it or not I got to Freemont.Volcano.water show. gondula and got to lose all my winnings from the night before just before we left. Thank You for showing me around. I knew where everything was thanks to you and was able to time everything so we did not freeze to bad. Pat I did end up with the 1 bedroom and Spence will be in it for 1 night . I hope you enjoyed the Cigars I left for you in the room.
