Too cold to go in the pool. It was open 1 day and being cleaned out the next. Pool was small but I think it might be heated.

Shaggy My wife left you more money than I did, I would have came home a winner if I had not gone back for more on the last day.
The Price is right tickets I bought on Ticketmaster. You can purchase there on the day you want to go. It was fun but We did not get on. They have you thinking that you are going to get the grand show case but they only gave away about a $1000 prize from it.

Yes I missed it but saw some of it on TV here at home. We had super great seats for Celine Dion and saw the Las Vegas Price is right. Temps were cold but not brutally cold.

We had 2 good dinners at both of Emril's restaurants, We went to Delmonacos steakhouse for dinner and the Fish house for lunch.

      Frank,
Did you enjoy the Fremont Street Experience? When you were mentioning the good meals you had, you didn't mention Village Pub

That meal was one that I was waiting for a long time and well worth the flight to go there just because of the company I was with.

I enjoyed the Fremont St Experience but I must have picked to coldest night. My wife wanted out of there just to keep warm. I wanted to see all of the out side shows. We started at the Venation for dinner then cab-ed it to Fremont , Saw the show and bought a couple of Souvenirs. Then cabbed it to the Volcano then to the outside water show. It was a very cold night but the Volcano warmed us up as did the hot coco.
BTW Fern you were not kidding when you said that America west should be called Americas worst. Delayed and The AC was not working correctly. I have flown AW 4 times and have had a problem with the AC each time.

We sat and talked and visited for quite a while.

Venetian Hotel and Casino - Delmonico Steakhouse - Emeril

            Big Frank

What did you think of the restaurant's design (modern, yet traditional).
Its 12-foot oak doors open to reveal a comfortable and intimate setting.
Vaulted ceilings. A petite grand piano & the beautiful glass French doors.

Did you stroll the Grand Canal Shops
or play in the Venetian Casino

That entire property is just beautiful!

              The Mirage

The Volcano at The Mirage has been a Las Vegas signature attraction since
the resort opened in 1989, mesmerizing spectators with its thunderous display.

The volcano, situated on three water-covered acres,
is 54 feet high and circulates 119,000 gallons of water per minute.

The show is free to the public,
but may be cancelled during times of high winds or inclement weather.

You can see the show from the bar - dining area - or - your hotel room.

The Venetian is beautiful as are all the casinos we saw. When you walk in and see the ceilings you think you are in Rome as the painted ceilings look the same.

I have to admit the Atlantic City may have it's Broad walk but it does not come close to what Vegas has.

                  Village Pub

                  Marti,
We live a couple of miles from the one called "Horizon Ridge," which, strangely enough is not on Horizon Ridge at all. But if I'm meeting someone from The Strip, I usually go to the one called Wigwam, which isn't on Wigwam either, but is on Eastern near Wigwam (Eastern off ramp of I-215). The closest one to The Strip would be on Sunset near the airport.

Food is good, prices cheap. They brew their own beer and root beer and have video poker

Fern took me, The one that is most near by is the one by the Flamingo. The rest are not near by and I would not go to. I would stay at the Fairfield which is not far off the strip and is new but the Marriott from what I saw is the best place to stay.
I will be posting both pictures and videos in a few days.

                        Video

I was watching your videos of the Marriott in Las Vegas
& noticed the clip of the Old Polo Tower Roof Top Pool

I have been to PT and seen the Bar & Roof Top Pool
and view of the Strip.. The view is beautiful at night

Did you stay in the old Polo Towers Building with the Pool

The video of the MGC unit (2407) had a really nice LR TV
and double shower. However the dishwasher looked small

How many buildings does Marriott LV have now
I know you did not rent a car but I was wondering
Did you notice if they have Free Parking (Garage)

They currently have tower 2 under construction if you are asking about the MGC. It has free valet parking, (we tip the valet coming and going because they were quick, courteous, and ready to help load or unload you), unlike Hilton Grand Vacation Club on the strip which charges $6.00 a day for valet.

The HGVC on the Strip has two of their four towers completed. Tower 2 is newer and has LCD tvs in the livingroom but no the big tubs are not jetted like tower 1. We just got back from there if you have any questions.
