  • Convicted of Spamming

I heard a blurb on the national news yesterday that someone was convicted of spamming and using a false email address, the report saying it was the first person so convicted. They got a 9-year prison sentence!

It had something to do with spamming aol customers and taking money from them.

Anyway, it may be the beginning of setting legal precedents in this young industry.

    Here's the story:

In Missouri, the stalking statute has been amended to include electronic means. It only takes two incidences to meet the test for stalking.
