I agree! I have only looked at about 8-10 items today, whereas I used to be stuck to the computer!

This one has been dull because it's an unusually high proportion of computer stuff--wireless routers, cards, drives, even an outdated computer. And a bunch of computer gaming stuff. Not much here for people who HAVE a computer (which everyone on woot does, obviously!) and are not using it for gaming.

I like the dumb stuff like kitchen appliances, clock radios (they had one and it lasted about five minutes), mop 'n vacs. And for god's sake, how many Roombas does one wooter need?

Also, the most boring stuff has been lasting forever.

I really want more of those wind-up radios. We have another bat mitzvah coming up. If anybody sees those, please scream!

          Projector finally gone.

Then there was that really cool internet phone for about 5 seconds, and now....Wine.

I don't drink wine, but the bottles are pretty.

What do you do with an internet phone, anyway?

I just read the restrictions, no wine for me! I am over 21, but Indiana is not on the list. Damn stick-in-the-mud legislators!! Can't buy alcohol on Sundays, either. Or cars, go figure.

I hit the I Want One button on the phone and then went back and saw that it's Internet only. You need something like Skype to use it. Too bad!

They make cell phones that look like old-fashioned handsets--I would love one of those. It would be fun to use.

That is funny. My Hubby and I just watched ET the other day. Still a pretty cool movie.

I went to freethegrapes.org and sent a message to my legislator. Just on principle.

The gateway tablet PC. Is that a good price - anyone know the quality of a gateway?

                      Hope

I'm hammering away on a Gateway right now and we've had them for about 15 years. We like them and the customer service is decent (unlike Dell, which charges you money to call them).

I think when this PC was up as a regular Woot, most people thought it was a pretty good deal, and it was more money then. I think. All the Woot items run together after a while.

On the blog, starting page 2, people are actually discussing the quality of this computer. Mixed reviews as usual. Note that it's refurbished.

I did my part, My SIL just last night told me she wanted a Portable DVD player for the kids. I called her as soon as that came up. She was out but told me to buy it.
