After hearing many recommendations for this company with cheap long distance rates, I tried it.
sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.
If you call they say they are having temporary problems and use a different access number.

however, now I have a problem I never had before. I tried to buy more time on line, and it didn't go through. After several calls, and I have had to make these calls every few days, I still do not know why. One uite says the charge is pending, credit card companys says it is pending. it has been pending for 2 and a half weeks. I have charged a lot of things over that time period, with no problem, so there is a problem with onesuite, but why then isn't the charge just rejected rather than hanging there , pending, for so long?

Maybe the service depends upon where you live. I've had OneSuite for over three years and have experienced "overload" with no lines available only a couple of times for a short duration. I've never had trouble with "recharging" my time using my credit card. I hope this isn't a new direction they're taking!

Never had a problem recharging here either. Service has been pretty good.

We have the same card and when I ran into that overload problem then I used our more exspensive AT&T phone card.

Now we only use those cards when traveling as we have no long distance charges with our home cable phone system.

I also use Onesuite for calling long distance. I already cut my long distance provider (Sprint) because I seldom have problems with Onesuite and very much satisfied with them. About the pending charge issue, I had it once but after 48 hours, the charge was automatically canceled.

Hope you get it fixed, I've never had problems like that with onesuite, been very happy especially with their messageOne service.

Funny, I just restocked my minutes today. I have found out that my Visa card just will not work for some reason, Visa claims they never contacted them, they claim Visa rejected it. I have a master Card and as long as I use that, I can buy more minutes. also, it has worked with no trouble since I made that first post some months back.

The last time I tried to recharge my Onesuite account it would not accept my credit card. I tried a different card and it also would not go through. I then recharged it successfully from my PayPal account. I do believe they have troubles with their credit card acceptance. Otherwise, I'm very happy with Onesuite.

I've had no problems with them in 2 years. The only surprise with them is when service goes dead, not for lack of funds, but because the time for reload has come up (3 mo. or whatever) ---ken

I think it's six months between reloads and your account zeros out, so you need to watch this and guage your use accordingly. Don't put too much money on the books. You can extend the life of money on account by doing a recharge, but then you have that much more money to get rid of before the 6 month ticker.

Yes, it is 6 months. I keep an eye on it online and recharge the day before by $ 10. $ 20 a year isn't bad for long distance, but it keeps me from being a long distance blabbermouth.

Let me add that aside from the fact you don't lose your money after 6 months validity period, you can actually call them up and ask for an extension. Usually I get another couple of months or so. I've also subscribed to their SuiteAdvantage ($2.95 monthly) which I got additional phone number and can make and receive calls using VoIP. Trying to see whats the buzz with VoIP...I guess aside from being cheaper, you can make phone calls without using a landline or a mobile phone.
