Is Anyone watching Amazing Race All-Stars?

I think this one should be fun since we've seen how they operate before and it seems that some things never change. I know some people are tired of Rob and Amber, but I get a kick out of them and they are always kind to each other, not matter what situation they get into, and seem to enjoy every minute of the race. If this were a "vote-off" show they would have been out last night, but hopefully they will be around to watch for awhile.

Oh yeah, I'm watching. I didn't start watching AR until about the 3rd season or so, so some of the teams are new to me.

I do not lke romber. I didn't like them as individual or team competitors. I will admit they are supportive of each other, but that is the only thing I do like. I didn't like that the first time they were on AR they got soooo much support from the locals. Yes, I know other teams have gotten help, but folks were falling all over romber to help them. I did laugh when one of the other teams asked "Don't you have your own tv station or something?". I thought it was arrogant of Amber to state that while she and Rob couldn't pick a team they wanted to compete against that all of the others teams would pick them (romber) as the team to beat. Get a life woman! I mean other than a "professional reality star".

I watched Amazing Race last night - I thought it was good. Some of the teams are unfamiliar to me too - I didn't watch the first few seasons either.

I usually don't like all-star shows, but I do think this one is going to be good. I like Rob and Amber and I like the blondes. I hope they both go far. Uchenna and her husband have already won, so I'm not rooting too much for them. But they a nice couple as well.

As for Rob and Amber getting help from the locals, well I think that's the whole point of the game. To get ahead no matter how you do it - as long as you don't break any rules. Other teams have different strengths, so it's just a matter of taking advantage of what they have. I enjoy watching Rob and Amber because they are just so darn good at strategizing. And they do it with a smile.

But Luanne - I do agree with you that it was a bit arrogant of Amber to say what she said. I just chalk it up to confidence. Plus it's the first time I've heard her say something like this, so I'm going to cut her some slack.
