My cell phone bit the dust.

I can hear fine, but the speaker circuit went out, or there is a short in it, or whatever. Depending on how I open it, or hold my mouth, sometimes the other party can hear me and sometimes they can't.

So there has been a lot of, Hello, I can't hear you, Hello, I can't hear you, Hello, I can't hear you, Hello, I can't hear you . . . .

Now, don't you hate it when you have been a customer for beaucoup years and you have to sign a new 2-year contract to get a deal on a replacement phone?!

You don't have to sign a new contract. You can buy a different phone (Maybe off ebay or maybe the "tracphones" at discount stores like Walmart and Target. Just make it is either "unlocked" or the same brand as your old phone.) and use the sim card from your old phone.

I know, but a way-out-of-date replacement phone was going to cost $60.

We order new phone on a new contract yesterday and today received an email that they are backordered.

In the mean time, anyone who would like to call me, now is your opportunity to speak to me without having to listening to me.

I have had about 4-5 phones drop in the toilet. I did 4 my son 1. My wife lost her phone once. I now insure all the phones. Good thing because my PC phone was no longer working correctly. The touch screen got damaged and did not censor when you tried tapping on it. Not sure if it is a great deal, $6 per phone and a $50 deductible. It only pays to keep it for the first 18 months with Sprint. Sprint after 18 months will discount a new phone for you , not before. After 2 years the discount gets better.

At least one person can see into my real, not virtual, life.

He prefers email, so he can get to it on his own schedule. There was a 3-day delay in him doing that, something which naturally produces a bit of anxiety, but fortunately no one had a gun aimed at me or anything urgent!

But now we are talking, and will have another face-to-face next.

My attorney would not last long on Internet forums!

I am also back to dealing with my Dad's situation, as creep has defaulted again on the restitution agreement. That is with my brother and step-sister, two more people who would not last long on Internet Forums!
