What is WRONG with the Internet today?

I can't access Yahoo or Google or eBay, but my skype and vonage are working in addition to Timeshare Forums and cnn and others.

Is there a massive internet backbone issue going on today?

Dang, then there is a problem here in Hawaii. They would fix it faster if everyone in the country were effected. If it's just Hawaii, then they will wait until everyone wakes up to do anything about it.

I tried Cingular Edge and T-mobile and none of them can access Google, eBay or Yahoo. So, it's not an internet access problem. It's definitely backbone related here in Hawaii.

I can access every place I normally go except for Google mail. My gmail has not been responding since yesterday evening.
