We did have some extremely cold weather ( for here ) a couple of months ago that resulted in 85% of the orange crops being lost.
      I love you too John.

Well, it's really starting to come down here, now. Looks like a rain/snow mix. I should have gone to the supermarket, earlier. Theres not too much to eat in the house, so I'm having coffee, and figs, for breakfast. And, probably having pickles, for lunch.

I was going to go to the supermarket this morning, but I figured that it would be a mob scene. You know how everyone seems to feel the need to buy a months worth of food, whenever snow is predicted. As if they're going to be stranded indefinitely.

Coffee and figs eh? Hope you have more than one bathroom at your house!

Nothing here yet but a few flakes here (not including that California guy that wandered in). We're supposed to get from 8-12"+ depending on what forecast you watched. Maybe I'll get the snow thrower out and put to use yet.

Living in South Jersey sometimes (seldom) has its benefits. So far only rain and that is all that is expected. DH going to Killington Sunday for 1st time this year. Usually by now they are spring skiing but this year it is now the best skiing this year. He didn't get his money's worth from his season lift ticket.

Reason for not skiing more often had nothing to do with weather, just work schedule.

Driving is not fun. Ice all over. If you are planing on driving any where around the city take it slow and add extra driving time to your commute. May the force be with you

Yep....Just got back in from the supermarket. The roads are really starting to ice up. In fact, it's not really snowing, it's sleeting, at the moment.

64 degrees in Denver today, tomorrow 72 and about the same for Sunday.

March is usually our snowiest month, yet this year, nary a flake has fallen! Our worst snow in history was four years ago, when we received 32 inches in about 24 hours. Compared to the other records around the country, this is nothing.

I personally wouldn't mind some snow again. I am not looking forward to yardwork and the less it snows now, the closer that mowing, trimming, weeding and planting must start. We need a smaller yard!

We already have about 4 inches of snow.
Since the schools were all closed in the county the workers are being pretty lax about clearing/salting. When you hear that we are getting another 4 or more inches on top of this it kind of makes sense.

A friend of mine had to go out earlier and said there were at least a dozen SUVs in the ditches and in accidents on Rte 59 which is a main thoroughfare here.

                          DH is coming home early.

I rescheduled my test for next week. I live on a through street but there is a very large and intimidating hill. This little old wimp isn't even considering going out today.

                          Maybe I'll go bake something.

Wow...no thanks on those conditions. I guess you get used to it?

I spent two winters with snow in a NE Asia....I said never again.

                                snow

It started snowing here in my neck of the woods around noon time. It's really coming down. What a disappointment!
