    The $700 box of pastries............

    Box of pastries = $30, Vet Bill= $$$670, lesson learned = priceless.

Beaglemom3 -- what a story. Sorry, but I found myself really laughing out loud at your story. And I thought I had it bad. We have a dog that loves to eat anything she can get her teeth on. A couple of weeks ago, as I was making lunch for the kids, I put a banana on the stairs for me to put in my briefcase to take to work. I went upstairs to get the briefcase and came down and Sydney (our dog) was eating my banana. Again, my fault for leaving it out in the open, but the funny thing was that she was eating the banana peel and not the banana inside. Having not learned my lesson, the other day, I put an apple on the stairs. Again, by the time I came downstairs Sydney was at my apple. She took a chunk out leaving her teeth prints in the apple. Actually, it was kinda cute. Maybe we don't feed her enough....

I put all my peelings, pasta, small chicken bones, etc, into my disposal. The key is to put small amounts in at a time. Maybe a quarter cup. Make sure it's gone and then put in some more.

The one time we clooged up our disposal was the day before Halloween many years ago. Can you guess what we ran down? Yep, pumpkin seeds. We were just jamming them down. That was about a $65 experience.

Rememeber, small amounts at a time. Oh, we won't grind down celery!!

        Too funny.

At least she's on a healthy diet.
