  • Another Great JLB Investment

I'm reluctant to say anything about my investing savvy, for fear of the hords that will deluge me, wanting to know how I do it.

As an existing stockholder, we are mentioned in option (c), the one that has been adopted.

Hopefully you did not buy in 2002 when it was $15 per share.

    Here is a better graph

Been down that path three times in my life. KOOP was the last one that went to $0.00 on me ~5 years ago. Whenever I start messing with individual stocks, I'm lucky if I break even. As long as I stick with mutual funds, I make some money. (Actually, real decent $$).

Now that I think about it, everyone should have seen this coming. Earthshell invented and manufactured biodegradable packaging, bowls and plates, etc. They would dissolve naturally in landfills.

We should have seen that so would their company and stock.

              Investments

In real estate the three main things to consider when investing are
              1. Location.
              2. Location.
              3. Location.

When investing, the three main things to consider are
              1. Divirsification.
              2. Divirsification.
              3. Divirsification.

Another might be, leave the politically-correct fads such as biodegradeable alone. The market dictates what will succeed, not foo-foo.

                Oops!

Actually when you take into account the 9 for 1 reverse split in '03 (Halloween Day I believe), it was worse than $15 per share.
