    Uh-Oh....I hate when it's Friday the 13th.

My husband just looked at the date and suggested I not go to Chicago today. But I am not superstitious, so I'm going anyway.

I was BORN on Friday the 13th, so I always consider this my lucky day. Hoping for big things!

Maybe I'll finally find somewhere to stay in London in June that I can afford.

Maybe I should go buy a couple of lottery tickets.

There's bound to be some luck for me somewhere out there today!

I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. Also turned 30 on Friday the 13th. I've never been superstitious.

My 13th wedding anniversery was Friday the 13th. I sent the bride 13 roses and picked her up in a "borrowed", black, Fleetwood Brougham, Cadillac. Took her to a fancy eating establishment with some surprise guests. I was damned near a pauper at the time but the night was fun and we're looking at 35 years in September...and we're the product of a Las Vegas elopement besides!

Yup, that was me. I had a midlife crisis, quit a very good job and went and sold cars for a year and a half or so. Drained our savings to survive but got to borrow a year old Caddy off the used car lot to take my sweetie to dinner. Second month of selling cars, I was "salesman of the month" based on sales volume (gross), not units. I didn't make as much money as I did monthly with the job I left. Thankfully, didn't burn any bridges and was hired back to my old job which I retired from at the ripe old age of 57. Life is good and all I have to do any more is to travel and challenge and guide misguided lefties.

I was flying today and I was thinking of switching my seats to row 13, but all the seats in that row were taken.

My father was born on Friday the 13. He was significantly older than my mother . He wouldn't tell her his age when they started dating, but she knew his birthday. When he told her about being born on a Friday 13, she looked it up in an almanac and figured it out.

I guess I come from a family where women know how to get the information they want.

Fri the 13th was my lucky day. I successfully crashed a rooftop pool in South Beach Miami. And later on the way to airport I made it someone's lucky day...a nice young couple with 5 kids had just bought a 2 br Westgate in Orlando from developer, and I talked them into rescinding and saving the $ for their kids' college. I got their email addy so I'll be sending them a link to TS4Ms so they can take time to learn about resales.
