Weird......
If this continues into tomorrow, the stock market will crash, among other things...
Thank Gawd/God,
The only blackberry around here is brandy and it has not been shut down. Life is good.

I can imagine - and since 8 pm - kinda strange.....there are so many people dependent on those devices - are you one?
Definitely NOT. Can you imagine me with a hand-held internet device
But here is DH's response:

Their stock tanked recently. Didn't meet the analyst's earning estimates.
That plus the $800mil debt to the Canadian co they ripped the idea off
of.... Maybe they just pulled the plug to save on electricity at night.
Thanks for the message! I'm in Montreal and I can receive text messages and making phone calls, but I have not received any emails since 7:52pm EST. Also, can't access internet.

My sister in NYC is one of them. We've taken it for granted that we've been able to email her back and forth anytime and receive an instant reply. She uses it mainly for work so this can't be good.
The problems with blackberry were corrected overnight. I'll have to try the cellphone this afternoon and see if it is working. There was flooding, trees down and evacuations on the shore and near some river areas and this may be the cause of our cellphone problem.
