The Reason Was to Correct the Misinformation.

What is the real reason you posted this thread? What are you really trying to find out? What are you really trying to accomplish?

Maybe I have it wrong, but I don't believe it was to correct the misinformation on TUG about RCI.

Yes, you do have it wrong. The only reason was to correct the misinformation. I knew that Brian would see the thread because of Spence's Thread.

Brian has already agreed to fix that.

Brian only agreed to look into it, and I'm fine with that. I sent Brian an email today with links to my posts. it is up to him to make changes if he sees fit.

And, to solve that problem would have been trivial to accomplish. I believe that under any TUG regime I have engaged. There is something more that you aren't saying. And, what you have said already suggests what I concluded. If I have it wrong, please correct my logic.

Your logic is wrong in this case because I don't think like you and you don't think like me.

For contrast, here is another post on TUG about outdated HGVC information just posted today. Take note of the tone of the message and the responses that followed on. That is the posting style of someone who is just trying to find out the correct information:

HGVC Owners Web Site information dated

    That title suggests inaccurate information.

I had PM and Email contacts with somone from TUG right after Madge's answers to my posts. That someone was not about to look into any changes. I wish that I had known Steve was the person I should have contacted.

That suggests TUG has an intent of providing misinformation. That intent can be an innocent oversight or a proactive decision.

I can not fault any Tug member for believing all the RCI had said in the FAQ: ASK RCI page as being correct. As I understand it, several TUG members worked hard and long hours to get this page on their web site.

Once you said that you did ask and it wasn't updated, one can only conclude that you believe it is a proactive decision. A proactive decision to propagate misinformation and if it is related to RCI who is also, according to you, then propagating misinformation suggests a conspiracy to provide misinformation about RCI policies. If that's not true, please inform us of what it does suggest?

Perhaps you see a conspiracy, I ony see it as someone not willing to look into my position. More than likely because that person thinks I'm a jerk. The reason I think this is, when I wished that person a Happy New Year in a post, that person didn't have the manners to wish me one back.

Do you or do you not believe it? If you do not believe it. Please fit the facts with your true beliefs because it is not adding up for me right now.

Yes, I believe that RCI was renting out the Embassy Maui spacebank weeks without putting them into the spacebank pool. Nothing that Madge wrote to me tells me otherwise. In fact, if you look at the post it appears to me that Steve didn't believe Madge either.

Embassy March April May 2006 Marketable Inventory? - TUG Bulletin Board

At this time I would like to say that I have nothing but good things to say about TUG. For without them, I am sure I would still would believe all Red Weeks are Equal.

As for RCI, I have no problems with my past and present trades. I have traded several times into Hawaii. Last Jan. I exchanged into Oahu and the Pointe at Piopu. We have exchanged into Europe several times I already have a 2 bedroom at Maui Hill for Jan. 2009. We have traded over 80 times and I have alway felt they were good trades.

Just letting you all know. We do not want posts with names in them. You got a problem with a person Please PM them but leave there name out. I am getting emails from members that feel this is not right and I agree. Do not use a persons name unless they agree. Putting a name in a post is taunting the person and in that case the person who used the name is at fault.
We will remove any names from this moment on and we will be going back to edit some who have not responded on thread and are Innocent here.

Jim, just drop it. Come on, lets move on.
This is poison. You are causing a lot of ill will, and it's not fair on this site.
