    My Email is not working again!

    I have gortten a ton of Emails most because of these recent threads. I am letting you guys know that It's not that I am avoiding answering. I just can't reply!

    The host 'smtp' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'pop', Server: 'smtp', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

    I am sure in a day or two you will get the email that I sent out today once they fix the no socket error, I hope .

        Guys I am sorry but it is still not working. I am going to have to empty my send folder now since most of the emails no longer are relevant. I will try to reset my modem and router again before I go to bed. I did that last night but did not help but I will try it again as it did work the last time this happened.

        Not sure if this is a Net zero problem or a Cable problem or even a hardware problem. I feel bad for all that was asking for help and I could not respond. Some has trouble logging on which I fixed for them but could not tell them it is fixed.

          For the time being... can the new emails go to a gmail account? 2.x Gig worth of space available! ... just a thought big guy ...

            I do have a Gmail account that I have not used in a year. I rather just try getting this one working again than use Gmail. Worst case I could use AOl which I never rarely use but do when this one goes down. I don't like to use the AOl because if I get a response I may miss it there because I don't log in.

              Frank, I just tried my netzero e-mail account and it seems to be working fine.

                Even though you have NZ you might be on a different server because of your location. I have restarted my Laptop 3 times this week and reset the modem last night. I will try again tonight.

                  Still not working.
                  I reset the router last night.

                  I am so sorry to the new members that are having trouble but I am unable to respond. If you read this your accounts should be now active.

                    Sure you weren't banned from netzero, to many emails or maybe it couldn't handle the smoke?

                      OK I am working again. I shut down the computer and let it sit. I reset the router turned it back on and it looks like it is working again.

                        Well it worked for 5 days. It stopped working again. Not sure if it has any thing to do with the fact that I am away?
