  • What is 'OY'---is it perhaps TUG (over yonder??)

I have read some postings that have the abbreviation OY----does it stand for 'over yonder'?

I might be WAY OFF base---so please correct me if I am.

    Thanks,
    Pat

Denpending on which site you are posting in at the time.

If you are over here on timeshareforums then OH is over here and OY is Tug.

If you are on Tug posting the OH is TUG and we are OY.

      Hope that helps.

If your Here your not there so OH is over here which depends on where you are standing when posting. OT or OY is across the way depending on where your sitting at the time.

Do you know that I have received a gazillion e-mails and PMs from folks stating that OY <written here and referring to TUG> is viewed as derogatory?

Silly. As it is in my mind a shorthand term and meant affectionately. Most of us are or have been dual affiliated for many moons. Sort of like kissing cousins.

            OH, OT, OY.

I might add that if your OY and posting about OH then OH becomes OY. Simple Algreba. I can't wait for Steve Nelson to see this thread to see what he comes up it.

Not that it makes a lot of difference right now, since OY if OL for JLB, and those from OY are moderating and disciplining OH.

Right now it is just one big disfunctional family, perhaps with too much inbreeding. That's common in this neck of the woods.

Nah nah nah nah Thats not it.

It depends You can not be posting on Tug and say OY because we now become OY and Tug becomes OH not OT.
