Interesting comments. I read xxx's latest reply and did not see the implication that xxx was the one behaving wrongly.
What I read was that she disagreed with xxx's conclusion after stating: "I have learned that people are either inherently good, with strong character, motivated by what is right regardless of the personal consequences, or they are inherently bad, with weak character, and tend to go with the flow, to fit in to not be targeted. (Social creatures that we are!)."
The conclusion was "I also believe that each of us can't determine or change which we are..."
My interpretation of xxx's statement and conclusion is that some people are born either good or bad and that one can not change the happenstance of our birth in terms of good or bad. I realize that this is the internet. I doubt if xxx's statement and conclusion was meant for me to come to my own interpretation.
I apologize in advance for interpreting what xxx said and what xxx said.

You can see it in hospitalized patients all the time with regard to pain threshold, stages of loss, etc.
Some folks are terse, some are shy, some are gregarious, some cautious, some inflammatory, devisive, concillatory, stoic, etc.
No cause for debate. A nice discussion this makes as it's just a view on life, agree or not.
I agree that we can't change our fundamental personalities. We are who we are. That's true.
What we can change is what we do, how we react to certain situations and our attitude.
If we find that certain things keep happening to us, it's time to do an assessment of why it is happening. If there is anything we are doing that causes a certain outcome, then we need to make an active choice. We either need to continue to do that thing and fully accept the outcome that results. Or, we need to do something different so that the outcome changes as well. Either way, we are in control of our own destiny.
A victim who tries many different ways to change a situation and bad things still happen to them is a victim. A victim who repeats their mistakes without changing is a whiner. A victim who refuses to be victimized is a hero. My motto is "be a hero."

I'm only going to respond to this thread once, cause I don't have the time or inclination to get into a long he said/she said. You made a comment on people's character, and I posted a response with my feelings on the subject. This is your response. I didn't name call, engage in character assasination, etc., but you felt the need to for some reason.

Some think I have something against TUG. I would suggest that I and that others who were targeted years ago, and continue to be, have nothing against the organization while at the same time have a lot against the very small group of indiviuals responsbile for the targeting.
They have just handed down to each other, and reinforced each other for their own benefit, to the detriment of the rest of their customers, who have been denied the knowledge and experience of quite a lot of TS people who would contirbute if it wasn't for the BS of a few in charge of the place.
Those who have been close to this know that for several years those in charge OY has had a list of users that they hold to a different, very strict, virtual-kiss-my-@$$-or-you-are-toast set of standards. Those in charge have consistently had problems in the way they have dealt with strong-willed contributors.
"Strong willed contributors?" Is that the same as bullying people you disagree with when they express their thoughts?
xxx's comments implies that I am the one behaving improperly so I should be the one to recognize that and change it, unless I am too weak to do so. Of course, those who have expereinced this same sort of treatment at her, and other's, hands would likely disagree that I, or they, were the wrongdoers.
I believe the TS4Ms tenure for xxx has been very awkward, and she has been inhibited from expressing her true feelings. Now that she has set herself free from any allegiance to TS4Ms, that is coming out.

Just letting you all know. We do not want posts with names in them. You got a problem with a person Please PM them but leave there name out. I am getting emails from members that feel this is not right and I agree. Do not use a persons name unless they agree. Putting a name in a post is taunting the person and in that case the person who used the name is at fault.
We will remove any names from this moment on and we will be going back to edit some who have not responded on thread and are Innocent here.Timeshareforums Shirts and Mugs on sale now! http://www.cafepress.com/ts4ms

Jim, you and I, I think, are friends. We've shared emails and PMs and have a love of SW Florida in common.
But how dare you suggest that moderators on TUG poke fun and laugh at members. You owe me and everyone who has moderated on that board an apology. As Fern said, if there is some conspiracy to torture certain members, I certainly am not privy to it. Are there discussions about certain members? Of course, just like there are on this board when things get out of hand. But to suggest that it's some sort of sport to see how we can make someone's life miserable, please, we all have better things to do, let me assure you.
My bad for even straying into these threads. But I can't stands no more!!

Jim I thank you for moving on and using the PM system to show your proof.
Just so members know. I was up to 4:30 am dealing with emails and Pm's regarding these 5 threads. I can't do this again so we are now working on a way so this does not continue and is fair for all parties.Timeshareforums Shirts and Mugs on sale now! http://www.cafepress.com/ts4ms
