I like the idea too, and the great name.

I'm a newbie to timeshare and forums. The post "Why does TUG allow misinformation on RCI etc etc" debating the merits of the information provided was actually very, very useful (for me). I learnt more about exchanging (and its politics) from that lengthy debate than I have in the last 6 weeks of reading. I wonder if that sort of thing would be classed as "mud slinging" and if so I would hate to miss out on it.

As a newbie I am able to overlook the fiery discussions and take away the information I need. I don't know much about the personality clashes, don't feel inclined to get involved and accept that there is often a bit of mud to wade through to find the gold.

Thank you to everyone involved for working so hard to provide a useful, informative and fun forum.

100 seems too high to me. It's a let off the steam room.

I think 100 is good- anyone with less hasn't been around enough to get steamed.

            100 is a good qualifier.

The poster/member will have gotten a feel for all the good things that are available here, all the knowledge that is brought to the table, independents, exchange opportunities, chats and good clean fun.

Is there a membership purchase level that would by-pass the 100 post marker? For those that just have to view the slug fests?

              Good point.
I agree, 100 it should be.

Should be equivalent to what Pay per View gets for a good boxing match. And it should only buy lurking, but not posting rights

My vote too. I like the idea of the steam room very much as it compliments the hot tub here too but a little more private. Is it OK that it will be mixed for both sexes? In Europe, that would be OK.

Both sexes are OK, but you must be naked to post.

I disagree. I've been around for quite a while - though I had to re-register once. Maybe because I didn't post enough? I don't talk a lot... I don't type a lot... but I like to read and learn and usually someone else says what I would have said anyway - that doesn't mean I haven't been around long enough or that I don't get steamed.

I guess I just don't understand WHY the number of posts should decide whether you read something or not....I like the idea of another forum section to post and then if ya don't want to read it, don't go there....

You wouldn't want to see an old lady, Tony. However, if this is an opt in type of forum why not make the count a lot less. People do not have to read it like the political forum is today. The choice is here to make for the individual one way or the other.

It's getting too complicated for an old mind.

That actually sounds reasonable to me . . . it doesn't take any time at all to amass just 15 posts.
