CMA Music Festival - Nashville

We are leaving tomorrow for the CMA Music Festival in Nashville, staying at the Fairfield, I mean Wyndham Nashville. I was curious if anyone else from TS4MS was traveling to Nashville for the CMA Fest? This will be our 3rd year out of the last four that we have gone.

CMA Music Festival is steeped in more than three decades of Fan Fair® tradition. Since Fan Fair was born in 1972, Country Music fans have poured into Nashville, Tenn., traveling from around the globe to see their favorite artists perform, to get that coveted autograph and to create lifelong memories.

CMA Music Festival is unique among music festivals. It is a four-day celebration of America’s music that features artist/fan interaction, autograph signings, photo opportunities, more than 70 hours of concerts, family activities and much more.

Each year, hundreds of artists and celebrities appear at CMA Music Festival – from rising stars, to current favorites and the legends. CMA Music Festival is a veritable stomping ground for both those who love making music and those who love hearing it.

David, not going this year but have been 3 times. I have not been since they moved it inside. I really thought I was the biggest country music fan here so glad to find another one. I have not been since they moved it inside. Have a wonderful time!! What's the longest time you have waited in line for an autograph? Would you believe Kelli stood in line for 5 hrs each time to meet Wynonna & Chelly Wright. It drove me crazy as she was missing all the music. shaggy

Shaggy, I can honestly say that I have never stood in line for an autograph. I am quite sure that this trip will not change that any. Although, this year we are taking our 15 year old daughter for the first time and she is a huge Josh Turner fan. So much that we are going to his fan club party and I am sure that she will want to stand in line for him.

The only thing that is inside is the booths for the entertainers for to sign autographs. All the night time concerts are outdoors in the football stadium of the Tennessee Titans. They also have concerts all day long outside along the river.

I thought they did the nighttime concerts in the Gaylord Entertainment ctr downtown. I'd like it better outside. Good to know. Do they still have reserved seats?

Your daughter won't have any trouble getting an autographed pic from Josh at his party. Getting one inside the booth is different. Tell her to find out if she has to get in line early in am to get a ticket that will "allow" her to even get in the line for an autograph. A lot of the bigger stars do that. They only allow so many people an autograph. I would hate for her to get disappointed.
