What a great idea. BBS groups are better anyway. Much more immediate, clearer layout and less confusing. You can do polls easily too in order to gage interest in a particular trip. I found the yahoo group topic replies confusing.

Dittos to what tonyg and Sydney said...except it won't be private any more which may not be an issue...

tonyg, we won't tell Frank what you wrote on his forum-no way he will find out

We could set it up if Pat wants but I have to ask. Do we need it with the Goumbet forum?

Pat can request it be set up as a private group, invitation only, separate to any other private groups.

I have lost my trust in Yahoo. They seem to be failing their customers consistently. So it is a great idea to have the LOV private group setup within TS4Ms where data is backed up and the admins are caring and much more responsive.

It would have to be a private group and by invitation only. We don't want the men to know what we're doing! The drawback I see with a BBS as opposed to a Yahoo Group is that some people don't visit the BBS often whereas emails from the group are more likely to be seen/read.

Does that mean you want to run it on the forums or not. If you want it, tell me the name of the group which I think is LUV. We will get to it as soon as we can but with the chat tonight it might not be untill a day or two.

People can set it so they will receive an email update, or subscribe to the forum. Maybe it can be the default setting unless they want otherwise.

I have to admit I never got the hang of the Yahoo emails and found the replies and topics totally confusing.
