Well, don't get too attached to her. At his age there will/should be several girlfriends along the way. Or, he could do what my dd (18) and her ex-bf did....become "best friends". I asked her what the difference is since they still seem to be together all the time. She said, "Oh well, it's the same, just without the kissing and stuff". Didn't even want to know what the stuff is.
