Has anyone here used the roomba on a hardwood surface? What's the verdict?

I don't really use my Roomba anymore. I found it was just so much faster, and more thorough, to run a carpet sweeper over the floor.

I use my roomba on hardwood, tile and carpet and I love it. I do have to use my vacuum hose on corners, however.

I use my Roomba on my hardwood and tile and carpeted floors every day. My house has never been cleaner . With a very hairy dog we really need to vacuum daily but that didn't happen when we had to do it oursevles .

There are different models of Roomba and I don't know all the subtleties. Woot sometimes has them slightly cheaper and Amazon sometimes has them slightly cheaper, but those might be different models or refurbished units.

Maybe you could make a deal with Sharon for hers!
