The last day could have been better. They are giving away 1 Romeo limited cigar with every bundle you buy of the knock offs. There knock offs are Not bad but for the last day was looking for better. The best deal was the Nat Shermans /

I just noticed their Dutch auctions. Does anyone know if their's works like eBay Dutch auctions in that everyone with a winning bid only pays the lowest winning bidders price? I can't find an answer on JR's site. Everything I find indicates I would pay my actual bid price.
Give me a place with 4 S's: Sun, sand, surf, & suds-Dale (from Illinois)

OK, I bid and won. With JR's Dutch auction, you pay your actual bid price.

QUINTESSA CHURCHILL, reg. $89.95, bid $46.57
QUINTESSA ROBUSTO, reg. $79.95, bid $46.00
I'm happy with the first item, but the lowest bid on the robusto was $30, with 53 boxes selling for less than my bid. At least I know for the next time.

When you receive a new shipment, how long (minimum) do you keep them in a humidor before trying to smoke them?

It depends some of my better Cigars I won't touch for 6 months to a year, The cheaper every day smokes I smoke up right away. I have kept Cigars for 5 to 6 years with out problem I have also kept Cigars for 5 to 6 YEARS AND HAD THEM GET MOLD AND SOME DID DRY OUT. Some of the wrapers got damaged. I have too many Cigars to keep after so it is not easy. I just bought my Favorite Cigar in a Humidor, They are Aged and were put in that Humidor in 1999. They are perfect but I paid the price even though it was half off. Holt's Cigar Company

Heard from a few friends that the Nat Shermans are great, I should get mine in the next day, The Maria Mancini mine were a bit dry but good for an everyday smoke.

The box within the box is worth $20 alone, although I don't know what to do with it. The outside box is pretty darn nice too. I smoked one last night, and it was a good one. (Cigar, not box)

I just tried one of the nat Shermans. The draw was perfect the taste was great but the burn was trailing. Anyone else have a problem with the burn?

Looks like the JR special might have been a good cheap smoke- but it sold out quickly and they now have a replacement.
