It is more of a grill issue than being man enough, so to speak. It is a Holland Grill and it just doesn't want to heat. Putting in the garage gets it to temp much quicker. Garage isn't heated, but still air allows it to heat and keep the temp up. Last Holland grill for me.

Could be worse. You could live somewhere that you have to plug your car in overnight or while at work so it will start in the morning...like Sioux Falls, SD.

However I agree with the other posters grilling in the garage is not a good idea. I don't think John should rub our noses in his temperate year round climate though.

You realy don't want to know when I go to the garage for my woodworking, LP heater, two kerosene heaters, one a torpedo style. If I could have run a Nat. Gas line to the garage without a loan, I would have put in a normal garage heater. I have the smoker in there, will be doing cornish game hens for about 3 hours on New Years Eve.

Heck, grilling for 10-20 minutes is probably the safest thing I do in the garage.

We have pork and sauerkraut on New Year's Day, (a Pennsylvania Dutch tradition). That day is always a "sad one" in our house, tho...as the next day is back to work/school for most of us.

NY Traditions

We always go to my in-laws for a feast of rigatoni and meatballs and lots of side dishes but the most fun thing is that we always have a big poker game!
