My son received a phone call at 2 am one of his close friends from School was killed while in Tampa walking across the street. He was good friends with her and had gone to her sweet sixteen. She was 18 years old and was there for a Soccer tournament,

So sad, be there for your son. I lost one of my best friends in high school and it can really hurt for a long time. I will pray for her and your families.

What a shame!! My condolences to your son and her family. I had work and live in Tampa for work last year and spent about 8 months there. I traveled on that intersection everyday. It is a very, very busy one.
