      [with purchase of 12]

      Let your dishwasher sparkle
Environmentally Safe Glisten gets your dishwasher sparkling clean and lemon fresh
Glisten works hard to remove built-up soap scum, food stains and discoloration due to iron and other water impurities
Non-toxic, citric acid mixture designed to remove iron and manganese, known as hard water stains
      Safe for septic systems
Will remove food stains on dishes as well
Glisten can be used in small amounts with dishwasher soap to keep glasses and dishes clean
Regular monthly use of Glisten Dishwasher Cleaner is recommended for best results
Glisten can also be used as a laundry aid to brighten whites
Each package contains one 3 ounce pouch
All prices include Shipping and Handling
Glisten's Dishwasher Cleaner is not just for cleaning dishwashers, however. It's a multi-purpose cleaning product. It removes stains from dishes, sinks, plastic, and glassware. Use it in the laundry room to remove unsightly iron stains from the tub of the washing machine. Or try it in the bathroom to tackle those tub, sink, or toilet stains!

Fwiw way back when I was told you could use Tang to accomplish the same thing. Do they make Tang anymore?

Glisten is also carried at Ace hardware.

          It was the ignitor.

Tab $255. and he is very reasonable for these parts. My golden rule is not to work on something that can explode and DH is lightbulb status on Mr Fix-it.

Could have been worse. If it were the computer I'd be better off getting a new oven. Still. OUCH!

We are a very small county. The only one smaller in NY State is Staten Island and they have much more density than we do here in Rockland. Everyone knows just about everyone. If you don't know someone, someone you do know does.

Hot tip on the dishwasher bleckies. Use Lime Away and then Glisten to get rid of them.

          Lawren,

For $255 I should have been the Maytag repairman! I give TS4MS a 20% discount!

Also I believe that the Island of Manhattan aka New York County is actually the smallest county in NY, and Country with the highest population density. Nobody knows anybody here. This is a Snapple fact.

and I would have fed you and beer'd you. I think but don't know for fact that Richmond County is smallest.

Here is the data on my little place on the earth:

Rockland County lies just north of the New Jersey-New York border, west of the Hudson River, and south of Orange County.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 199 square miles (516 km²), of which, 174 square miles (451 km²) of it is land and 25 square miles (65 km²) of it (12.60%) is water. Approximately 30% of Rockland County is parkland.

The highest elevation in the county is Rockhouse Mountain, at 391 m (1,283 feet). However, nearby Jackie Jones Mountain also has a summit above 390 m (1,280 feet) whose exact elevation is not known and may well be higher.

The lowest elevation is sea level along the Hudson River.

Rockland is the smallest county in New York outside of New York City

St. Lawrence County is the largest East of the Mississippi

St. Lawrence County in the North Country, and I mean way up north of the Adirondacks is the largest country in NY.

My DS attended SUNY Potsdam way up yonder in his sophmore year. Then he got homesick and transfered back to SUNY New Paltz.

                @!#$@!#$@ Yep it went again.

Probably the stinkin igniter!!!! The oven lasted 8 years before the igniter went. Now a year later the oven won't light!!!

Grrrrr... Cheap parts! But they all look the same. And Frigidaire does not sell parts directly. They outsource to Third party vendors.

My friends mock me, but we have service contracts on most of our appliances with PSE&G. Over time it doesn't really make financial sense, but it saves a lot of aggravation. Our dishwasher broke a month ago; two guys came out from PSE&G, listened to me making the noise, peered into the dishwasher, pulled it out, conferred, then announced that the water valve had failed and they were going to go get one and would come back. An hour later it was all taken care of and my dishes were clean again! Yay!

We could have gotten a regular repairman...but I don't really like dealing with them, negotiating, being at their mercy for whatever they're going to charge.

I can handle most of the handyman type stuff around the house. But it is annoying cuz I just replaced the igniter last year. I have to reach into small tight spaces to get it out, and replace it in the back of the oven. The part was only $15. I see the same part for $50 as well all over the net. But I am not convinced they are of better quality. Seems like these parts are always burning out according to my research. I would like to know why the original lasted 8 years.

The way your wife cooks Bill you better get that fixed in a hurry!!!

Sorry about the part. I hate appliances but they are necessary. You can only cook so many things on a grill.

Pizza, bacon and eggs, fish, cakes, pancakes.

Hey, wait a minute. There is very little you can't cook on a grill.

But, with the seasons changing, it is much easier to cook in the house.
