Frank......It hasn't been pretty, and I don't even want to think about what might be coming.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

I managed to sell my remaining stock options when they were briefly above water for the first time since granted and before they expired.

You all need to learn to short the market or at least hedge using options.

I've lost most of the gains I've made.

I was just thinknig I needed to do that to make up for my losses, but I have no incentive to make more money because of high taxes. Even if I did, I can't sell the shares until after July which is the beginning of the new financial year here.

Yes, may have to sell some of my timeshares to make up the difference.

So what happens when you lose the paper.

Yes, if we close our eyes and cover our ears, it'll go away...in due course.

I may have to postpone my retirement which really sucks!

Hmmm. I was up today, not a lot, but I was up. I was up yesterday, up the day before. Actually, I am down only minimally since my high point a couple months ago. Copper and gold my friends, as well as oil and ag. Buy what works and get rid of what isn't.

And DON'T get me started on 'paper losses'.

                              Understood.

I have had other things. Not a lot but was almost back to 2000 valuations.

While a long term perspective is advised I can now appreciate the sell short perspective.

A bath and a half so far and expected to get far worse.
