I am so excited..... my son was elected President of the North Carolina Sr. Beta Club. He will be going to the the National Convention in June to run for President of the National Sr. Beta Club. Gettig a resort in Myrtle Beach the week after Father's Day has been a nightmare. Guess I will be staying at the convention center.
His dream is to attend the US Naval Academy when he graduates next year. He received notification yesterday that he has been selected to attend the five day Summer Seminar that is held in June. Less than eight hundred students are selected for each of the three sessions that they host.

Congratulations to him! That sounds like a phenomenal accomplishment that took a lot of hard work to achieve.

Know nothing of Beta Club but know a lot about THE Academy having gone there and taught there, my classmate is now the boss there (I'm old). Let me know if you need any info.
