  • I am back

But I am out of it. It may take me a few days to catch up. Mayan Palace was great but Aeromexico and that Mexico city airport is the pits. There Rardar did broke and no planes were allowed to land or take off for over 4 hours. We had a 5 hour lay over that became 8 hours. I got in at 3 am at home. I have a lot of new members coming over that I met in Mexico and at the airport. Trip was great but I need a few days now to catch up.

Good to here you had a nice time at the Mayan Palace

Sorry to here about the plane trip, but didn’t you have trouble at a Mexico airport once before?

Remind me not to fly to Mexico with you. We will just meet you there someday.

    Welcome home

Welcome back and we missed you. Normally, one goes on vacation to rest but it looks more like people need a rest after they come back from vacation. We felt the same way after our last trip. It may be age for us but you are young!

Air travel is no longer what it used to be but we like Alaska Airlines because we have always had a good experience with them.

Did you and your party all stay at the GM? I hope so.

Welcome back Frank. Hope your trip was good. You'll need to tell us all about it when you recover.
That's how I sometimes feel when I get back, that I need a vacation to rest up from vacation. But that usually how I can tell I had a really good time.

Nice to see things don't change all that much. Aeromexico and Mexico city were really awful in 1981.

              Welcome home Frank

Welcome back Frank !!!! Glad you had a good time!!!!! I Thought you were kidnapped by the timeshare bandits at the MP. When you get a chance we can compare notes on our vacations in Acapulco. Next time fly on American Airlines through Dallas or Chicago. We did and had no problems. I had heard that going through Mexico City was not recommended.

Welcome back Frank The Mayan Palace in Acapulco is awsome! Staying at the Mayan Riviera location made me realize how much I like Acapulco (the resort not the city). We always fly American Airlines through Dallas as we have also heard some horror stories about Mexico City.

                            Welcome home, Big Guy.

We never book through Mexico City. Like Lynn, we usually go through Dallas. Or sometimes Miami.
