My wife made me a deal, She said back in Oct that if I lose 50 lbs she will go on any trip this week to where ever I pick to go to. Now this was in Oct which meant I had to go through the holidays and that was not going to happen. Plus we went away in February and that killed my diet all together. so after Feb I started a fairly strict diet, I have cleansed since then about a half dozen times. That means no eating at all for 24 hours and only drinking this Cleanse stuff, Then I have done Colan cleansing which consist of taking these high fiber pills. I have given up about 80% of my carbs. Bread and pasta is now a treat. I have started up doing push ups , Sit ups , Walking and even doing some of my old Martial arts routines. I want to start jumping rope like I did a long time ago. I used to be able to jump rope like the boxers do. My body now feels like it did 20 years ago. But I missed my goal by 7 or 8 Lbs. My wife had said to me 3 weeks ago that she would not go on this trip if I was 1 lb over. Well I missed it by 6 lbs over the 1 lb extra she was giving me and she is going. She saw how hard I have been going the last 3 weeks and my son even said to her that she should not punish me for missing my goal since I came so close. So she is coming. I also got more fuel to diet after I saw Pat 3 weeks ago. She looks great! I hope I will continue and in fact not only get to my goal but do and extra 5lbs if I can. But since we are going to an AI now. I think I might be putting 10 back on in a week.

Good for you. I recently got back on a sensible track myself---cut back on the processed carbs (bread, pasta, sugar), cut out the wine with (and, to be candid, after) dinner, and the processed late night snacks. Get back into the habit of exercising.
I've been going at it only for a couple of weeks, and feel a lot better already.

Nice job Frank! I'm not really over weight by most standards (6'2", 180lbs) but I'm trying to lose 5 lbs of fat before "pool season" starts Memorial Day weekend. I'm finding even that to be difficult so far, so your accomplishment is indeed impressive. Be sure to keep it up. Treat yourself occasionally, but keep things in moderation. Again, nice job!Jim

It is hard work but so worth it to feel better and extend your life - and I know u r going to an AI but remember....
NOTHING tastes as GOOD as thin feels!
Yes, u can treat yourself - a taste or two of 'goodies' will satisfy you just as much as half the cheesescake.
And vodka and club soda with a splash of cranberry/pineapple/mango will get you just as 'relaxed' as those sugary, high calorie frozen drinks.
It all about the choices u make - go, have FUN and relax.

I thought so! Colon cleanse???? Is that something extra - I am using the 30 day system, it has the cleanse drink (I hate it, but do it), the isaflush....is there something else that is extra? I'm anxious to kick this up a notch.
Thanks!
