    Pat,

They have them on sale at Target alot of times, something like $3 for a cannister of 10, cappucino, decaf, french roast, etc. I think .30 is a lot better than $1.

Thanks, I got mine yesterday ....

... and tried it this morning. It worked very well. The pods are expensive and, yes, you can get Starbuck pods. Concerning making your own pods, I found a product, called Coffee Duck, on Amazon that looks interesting. If it works, you could save some bucks. ..... Ray

Got mine a few days ago and really like it. Don't get a choice in colors of the machine but luckily they sent black is which what I wanted to match my kitchen.

As soon as I have time I'll look into how to make my own pods with our favorite Hawaiian coffee.

I have had mine for about a year now. I first saw one on Germany and "had" to have one.
My only beef is they don't make a full cup of coffee. and if you use 2 pods, my mug is Too full. Other than that, I am happy.
I have bought pods occasionally at either Bed Bath and Beyond or Linens 'n Things with coupons.

I never thought of looking at those stores for coffee. We have both of them in my town. Thanks for the info!

I have been using one daily for four or five years now. I really like it because I can easily make one or two cups of coffee quickly without any waste. Thanks Ferm for posting about the pod makers. Will try them to see how well they work. As for making my own pods from a paper filter, been there several times and had nothing but a hot mess to clean up. Didn't explode but it was quite a mess.

I always assumed that my cups were a standard size. Also, since I always used a mug for myself, the problem didn't come up until I tried to make two single cups for some friends. I found that all my cups are 6 oz and the Senseo has only two choices; 4 or 8 oz's. If you want to make a single cup, you need to use the press the mug button and stop it before it gets too full. On the other hand, if you want to make two cups at the same time, you could press the mug button and then then cup button when that's finished. A little inconvenient, but I still like the machine a lot. By the way, I just ordered the Perfect Pod Maker and I should have it in about a week. After I try it out, I'll give you all a report on how it works.

Where do you get the pods??

Where's a good place to buy Pods inexpensively? I sent one to my sil and she is complaining that they cost a lot of money.

My guess is probably no where. I have bought them on sale for $3.00 a pack but never lower than that.

Bed, Bath, and B and Linens and things ALWAYS have a 20% off one item coupn - so if you can get a big package - that coupon would help.

I received my pot on Friday - ordered 5/29

I bought some on ebay awhile ago. Very cheap and they arrived in great shape.

Do I have to cancel something with the Senseo people like I did with Gevalia? I don't want to get stuck paying for coffee.

My sil already has the pod coffee maker. They delivered it in two days.

If you just bought the coffee maker for $15, you won't be getting any additional coffee. I think Senseo does have a subscription plan that works like Gevalia's, but you would need to go to their web site and specifically subscribe. ... Ray
