If you noticed he was putting the spatula in the pocket, Well guess what he just threw it off and put it back in the closet rather than putting it in a wash, A true cook after my own heart.

That's awesome, though, Frank. He did look really serious, though. LOL Did he really cook on Emeril? How did that happen? He does seem to know what he's doing, although I was cringing for the no-stick pan, also. My son is 30 and I don't think he knows how to boil water.
This was like the 3rd or 4th time he cooked at home. Yes he did cook with Emeril. We were watching the show and Emeril said some sort of joke and my son was the only one that laughed. So my wife covered his mouth and Emeril caught her doing that and yelled at my wife. ZNext thing you know he calls my son down to cook with him. He was up there for half the show and to this day I say it was the best Bam ever. They had it perfectly timed.

    That was awesome!
After I got over the spatula banging (I kept waiting for something bad to happen! LOL), it looked so delicious I want to cook it tonite!

There was some left over and my wife tried it and said it was very good.

What was funny was he got the reciepe from the internet. Then he went out and bought each ingredient not even to look to see if we had it. he now knows what it costs to make a meal. He got sticker shock at the cost of those Shirmps. He used the big ones and paid dearly for those.

The smile on his face when he finished said it all! He was proud.

He uses way too many dishes for my house. He had everything measured out in bowls. I just use the container they come in. Less cleanup.

You and your wife did a good job. He'll do well.

I hope those weren't your good towels he was wiping his spatula on. You have a much higher quality kitchen towel than we do.

I have a son that is going to college as well. There is not a chance that he can cook like that! Hamburger helper and egg sandwiches are about as good as it gets for him. I am very impressed!!!
