Have you noticed that I have discovered that several of the members of the country club up here have winter places in Englewood/Manasota Key, and thereabouts?
This coming Jan. we have a week on Sanibel and a week at Englewood.
I talked to a golfer yesterday, not a local, and their winter place is Heron's Glen, or something like that, on 41 north in FM. It is not one of those manufactured communities with an executive course. It has a real golf course, maybe two, and 750 members. Wow, that would be a tough tee time in January!!!
My golf has gone to ----, but I'm still trying.
