My wife Rang the Liberty bell in Philly

And I missed it. The group went to see the bell while I was taking a nap. It was so fast that they did not even have time to turn the camera on to take a picture. They took my wife off the line of about 400 and handed her the hammer used to ring it. She rang it at 5 pm Saturday.

Too bad about not being able to take a picture, tho. That would have been a nice remembrance to have.

I never went to bed on Friday night. Well I went to bed I just never fell asleep. I woke up at 4:45 to get ready to go and was the one who drove. We did a 3 hour tour with the Segways which was so cool but knocked you out from standing and when you got off you feet were killing you.

The first 3 min is all you need and then your an expert but that first Min is scary. We were in the bike lanes most of the times and believe it or not you can move it around better than a bike. The main thing is your feet , They are what tells the Segway what to do. Put presure on you heal and you go backwards lean forward on your toes go forward, To stop stand up straight. Turning was like a bike but you could do 360 standing still.

Anyway,the Liberty Bell hasnt rung in over 100 years ang guess what,it still has not.
When we were walking back, knowing how much you enjoy seeing your family enjoy themselves and being there with them for the moment,we thought it would be fun to joke with you,so we came up with the story of the Liberty Bell and how Jackie rang it,never thinking it would go this far
I was the architect of the story,but it took oscar performances from our supporting cast of JACKIE,SANDY,CAROL,DENISE,ANTHONY,AND DONNA to make it work
I got the next cigar and bottle of wine and we all have something else to laugh about as we grow old.
