Those of you who followed it Over Yonder know that his broker stole a lot of money from him, which led to his death. I have been dealing with all of it~~~the brokerage, the attorneys, my siblings, the prosecutor~~~for almost four years. The Estate is still open.
Just last week I asked the Executrix if the bank had talked about how they were going to handle collecting and distributing the payments from the 17-year restitution agreement that is part of the broker's sentence. Previously I had dealt with a very sympathetic ADA, one well-known in that city, as to how to keep the creep making payments after his probation period ends. There had been rumblings from his family that he would not.
The ADA is very sympathetic. He said he recalls the case very well and was shocked by how agregious it was. He promised that the creep would fulfill all of his sentence if he had anything to do about it. He even arranged a Probation Review Hearing to put creep on notice.
This week the Executrix notified me that creep has missed two payments, asking what I would like to do. I put her in touch with the ADA, and said I would like him to ask the court to accelerate the unpaid balance and have creep go to prison if he does not pay it.
My uppity stepsister, a pseudo high-society diva in that town, now is involved, ranting about how she is going to take creep to court and put his ass in jail. She has done that before, shown up in court and started shouting at creep.
Like I said recently, I am a fricken idiot magnet.
