Leaving the scene of an incident that caused bodily harm and that harm ending in death puts a completely different light on the incident. Did the gentleman have a right to block the street, no, he did not. But the young women wanted to incite an incident and they did. They are nearly as guilty as the young man that hit him....
In some states their actions (the young women) could be construed to be "inciting mayhem" and that is a criminal offense. I hope the person that slugged the older gentleman is found and he should serve time in jail and this offense should follow him the rest of his life.
The young women who incited the mayhew should also be charged with disorderly conduct and inciting mayhem and they too should serve some time or at least a long stint of community service. How about they need to care for the city traffic circle plantings?
