Read the numerous posts very carefully, weigh the tone and the facts then decide where the blame lies. IMHO this whole thread is mis-titled based on that exercise and holds very little information of value for anyone dealing with SFX. We all have problems with a decision now and then. It isn't always the fault of the first named group especially if multiple other entities are involved. The Internet gives anyone a chance to post a thought, problem or complaint but that doesn't necessarily make it valid.Comment

SFX has my presidential week but will not believe it is a full one brm since some clerk over at RHC said there isn't privacy for four. i can't get a phone number for sfx and this is driving me nuts. Why would i persist like this if it wasn't a fact. i stayed in the same suite in November so i know what i am talking about! i have a broken arm so this is doubly frustrating since typing with one hand is impossible! I AM SORRY FOR THE SPELLING AND GRAMMITICAL MISTAKES i got a note this morning from rhc confirming that a presidntial is a one or two bdrm and i know even that will do no good. i feel like i have been scammed by this exchange company since they have
1. been unable to return the week to me since someone aleady took it
2. not extended reasonable exchanges
3. my so called bonus week is rapidly running out of time
4. will not call me, or give me a person i can call, to straighten this mistake out inspite of over 10 emails pleading with them to do so
5. the won't call the resort and check with them
6. they absolutely HAVE NO RESOLUTION PROCESS
7.THEY FLAT OUT DISBELEIVE ME WHICH IS NOT ONLY DISCONERTING BUT HURTFUL TO MY REPUTATION AND PRIDE. I ONLY USED THEM AFTER YOUR PRAISE AND THEREFORE I AM APPALLED AT THEIR LAK OF CONCERN FOR ME AS A MEMBER. I KNOW YOU WORK FOR THEM MARK BUT REPEATED REQUESTS TO YOU FOR A PHONE CALL HAVE BEEN IGNORED.

Why I really wasn't scammed by SFX
Mark@ SFX has not posted back here because he is both a gentleman and a fine business man. He has allowed me to explain my behavior and therefore exonerate him and SFX. I have been in correspondence with mark@ sfx and after reading his emails i realized i made some big mistakes. First off my biggest mistake was my stupidity in not seeing a phone number on the SFX website. Also i erroneously assumed that SFX was doing nothing on my behalf with RHC. That assumption couldn't have been further from the truth!
In fact
SFX was not scamming me! I wish to apologize publicly for that post title. I sincerely apologize for any "bad press" i stirred up here and on tug. I apologize to Mark@SFX and to the rest of the SFX team. I am terribly sorry!
Apparently I was not aware of a letter sent to me by SFX in February stating, because of the situation of RHC claiming it was a studio, and my persistence it was a one bedroom, SFX erred in my favor by giving me trading power as if it was a one bedroom unit. And they still allowed me to keep the bonus week! The bottom line is they took care of me, and I wasn't aware of it.
Also more to the point, I should have fought more with RHC and not SFX. I honestly thought the SFX team “just didn’t get it” and for this, I am also genuinely sorry! Most definitely, I should have been smart enough to find a phone number on a website. That small feat would have ended this right away!
Therefore, I did not understand, either through my own stupidity, or from not receiving the information SFX sent, how much SFX has actually been doing on my behalf.
