We went to the Wiggles Live in Concert today. It was great! Afterward my daughter (who has a genetic disorder) got to meet and greet! They are such loving and caring people. They were not rushing, but treated each family as if they were the only ones there. All of the families had a special child. Each family group also got to have a group picture made with the Wiggles! Wow what a memory for our daughter!

I bet your DD really enjoyed the show - My darlings are almost 25 and 23 - our BIG event was going to Radio City Music Hall and see the LIVE Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles..... and then seeing them again at WDW.
I do miss those days, enjoy your DD while she is young as they sure grow up fast

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - I remember when they first came out..... my aunt had me on the lookout for toys because my cousin loved them too! The funny thing about the Wiggles Concert is they had some music the people in their 40's and 50's remembered from their teen years. We talked and laughed about it in the meet and greet!

Found this on a Google, my sister's kids, my nices and nephews liked them.
The Wiggles have won five ARIA Awards in the category of Best Australian Children’s Album for Big Red Car (1995), Wake Up Jeff (1996) Toot Toot (1998) and Live! Hot Potatoes (2005) and most recently Pop Go The Wiggles (2007) respectively. In 2003 they were awarded the ARIA Outstanding Achievement Award for their success in the USA.
When it comes to live performances, it is nearly impossible to find a live act anywhere in Australia, regardless of what age group of musical genre, that comes close to matching their figures. (It s even been estimated that one in two toddlers in Australia either sing-a-long to The Wiggles on video or CD at home or have been to a Wiggles concert - so add that to the many hundreds of thousands of adults who have been "exposed" to The Wiggles phenomena and the numbers become outstanding!). In Australia their annual end of year national tour sells over 120,000 tickets.
In the US The Wiggles were launched at the famous Wall Mart in June 1999 while performing in the shopping centre cars parks. In 2003 they performed 12 Sold Out shows at Madison Square Garden in New York and performed to over 250,000 people in November 2005. Their US fans include John Travolta, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, John Fogarty, Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Rock, Courtney Cox-Arquette and Cate Blanchett.Mark B.

What a great thing that they allowed special needs kids into see them. These kids and their families have such challenging lives and it is nice to have some rewarding times to balance the difficulties.
I still remember how difficult it was to get Wiggles tickets a few years ago and was thankful that my kids were well past those ages. (Now I just have to worry about the Jonas Brothers!)

We took our Grand daughter when they were in Cape Girardeau, MO. We were able to get good tickets and she loved them. They do a great act for children.
