I just came back from a 2 hour Focus group session. They wanted my opinion on Range Rover. They have a new car coming out in 2 years and they are doing research on how to market it. There was 6 people in our group and we all had expensive cars. We all got paid $200 plus $20 for parking. It was well worth doing for the 2 hours. They also had drinks Wine , beer .... and focaicia sandwich's. Normally when they call for a survey I hang up, This time my wife answered and since she can not hang up on any one she heard $200 and put me to work.

Frank, I did a focus group on RUM once! And it was delicious rum. And they paid me $100 to drink it.

Lol...part of what I do for a living is interpreting what all those people in focus groups say, and someone turning that into a report that recommends a direction for a brand. Not so easy when we're talking about six people....!!
