We have had our GMC Yukon for 8 years. When we got it, it already had two little antennas on it. One we knew was Onstar and the other looks like one of those earlier generation mobile phone antennas, the kind that go through a glass window. We have never had a mobile phone and there is no sign of one in this vehicle.
Then, last week about a mile from home, when I did not have the radio on, a very loud announcement came through the car's speakers. It was something like, "You are now on Roam America (or something). Please enter your ID to use Roam America (or something).
It scared the bejeebies out of me, but I put em back in.
I googled it and didn't find anything like that.
Any ideas?
