  • Cell Phone Numbers Go Public today

REMINDER... all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies tomorrow and you will start to receive sale calls.

.... YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS

To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382-1222.

It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone number.

    This is false.

snopes.com: Cell Phone Numbers Given to Telemarketers
"If a Nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.... If we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsibility of every American to be informed."

I recently had to block text messaging on my phone because someone had found my number and was sending a lot of unwanted texts. I have to pay .10 for each message and the cell phone company (T-Mobile) said they couldn't do anything about it. My only recourse was to block text messaging. It didn't really matter to me because I don't use it. I don't give my cell number out to many people. So I'm not sure how the texter got it.
