I'm a great GC fan (based on only one Orlando experience) and the limo thing was a one-time thing for me and then only a to and from the airport journey. Since the grandkids loved the last GC dinner, it's in the plan for the next trip with them to Williamsburg.

The chain restaurants have not been in the Branson and Lake of the Ozarks areas all that long. The local powers-that-be kept them out.
We still have some of the local restaurants but the chains do quite well.RCI Member Since 24-Aug-1989/150-plus Exchanges***THE TIMESHARE GRIM REAPER~~~Exchanging/Searching/SW Florida/MO/AR/IA/Consumer Advocacy/Estate Planning/Sports/Boating/Fishing/Golf/Lake-living/Retirement****Sometimes ya just gotta be a dick

Since I have eaten in about as many Famous Dave's as Shells, FDs will probably bite the dust too.
Originally posted by vintnerWhen we were last there in '05, some local was telling me about a new and great rib place that just came in. I was getting all excited until she told me it was Famous Dave's. Then I just laughted. They are headquartered here, so not new and exciting to me.RCI Member Since 24-Aug-1989/150-plus Exchanges***THE TIMESHARE GRIM REAPER~~~Exchanging/Searching/SW Florida/MO/AR/IA/Consumer Advocacy/Estate Planning/Sports/Boating/Fishing/Golf/Lake-living/Retirement****Sometimes ya just gotta be a dick
