I just read in the Missouri Conservationist that for every hour per day average a kid spends watching TV or on the Internet, they are 10% more likely to have ADD.

Wonder if that applies to grownup kids, too?

    . . .

    What were you saying?

Last semester in one of my nursing classes we looked at some studies that were released that identified Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome in children/teens that were playing action video games. We as consumers want better graphic cards, graphics, sounds, real play . . the effects of intense stimuli and increased spurts of adrenaline over longterm periods maybe really harmful. The fight/flight response is a protective mechanism in the body and is not really meant to be used for video game rushes.

It is funny this was brought up now. On last nights news they were saying that they are starting to use video games to help the older people think better and it was working. I was watching a few old people with the wi remote playing bowling and tennis. I just hope they do not try that dance game or start playing rock band.
