It is all in ruins. Over the weekend there was just a sliver left standing... It sort of reminds me of 9/11... There is something wrong with the skyline. I will miss seeing the old stadium.

Let's look to the future of 2 new NY ballparks... Hmmm I can smell spring!

First MLB game I ever attended was at Shea on a beautiful sunny day.

I'm ready for baseball to start. The lull between the end of college football and opening day always kills me.

My father was a Mets fan. That is an understatement. I remember several trips to Shea Stadium. I hope the new stadium builds wonderful memories for future generations.

I pass it often, and have been watching the new stadium go up, and the old one come down. DH can't wait for Spring.

In the past 2 weeks I saw Shea, Yankee and the Giants Stadiums all of them look the same with the new ones being built next door.

They will have to pry me (and Biskits, Falmouth, Grest, JoyCapeCod, etc.) off of Fenway Park - if it ever happens.

I love the feel of old stadiums/parks.

I never imagined that Yankee Stadium would be replaced...

Not a die hard Yankee fan... But you have to admit that Yankee Stadium holds alot of baseball history.
