  • Woot off

How come no one told me there was a woot off today? What have I missed? We are at the little notebook now.

Actually, I got an e-mail last night, but didn't read it. I am joining the woot off late

Big Frank must be away, otherwise he would have said that it is continuing for day 2.

BOC is now gone. I got all the way to entering address, then got the bad news that it was gone.

It is still going strong. I thought the BOC signified the end. Now they have the

The BOC doesn't always mean it's the end. When the flashing lights stop flashing, that's the end.

The Screaming monkey and flashing lights are up now.

I haven't been impressed with what I saw on this woot off. There really wasn't anything of interest when I'd check. I found it interesting they were selling a refurbished 2003 model IBM think pad that had a whopping 40GB hard drive for around $270. Heck, they've got Netbooks with larger hard drives and faster processing for around that same price. I'm not sure who'd want one of those but, they had the Sold Out sign up pretty quickly.

Last one out the door turn out the lights......and then buy them.

I guess you could say that there was a lot of crap that wasn't in the bag. There were selling a lot of the cheap bowling games or other 1 year age appropriate games. Not many laptops, not much on tv sets, lot of things moved through, but not much to brag about.

The one laptop I saw was a vintage refurbished IBM thinkpad with the 40 GB hard drive and the slower than slow processor (552 mb?).

I dunno, I like the silly things like the bowling games and the kitchen appliances. How many mp3 players and computers does anyone need? Of course...how many little bowling games does anyone need, either?
