  • From now on I will try to cut back on meat

This video is very graphic do not watch it if you get disgusted. It has to do with the way animals are treated.

I am afraid to view it, as it would give me nightmares. I have been a vegetarian for 22 years after a news clip that I turned off after a min. or two. I have NEVER missed it , not even on Thanksgiving [I feel sorry for the turkeys]. The thought makes my skin crawl.

Even though I am not going to view it, thank you Big Frank for posting it. Others might go vegetarian.

So I was the brave one to watch it! The only thing I can say is that I grow up with a family that owned turkey farms and slauter houses. They did not throw turkeys in crates the way the video showed. I don't remember them being treated so cruely before the actual slauter. I also wondered where this was filmed, and how long ago.

Oh, I know....I did not watch your vidoe, but have seen others over the years. It's very, very, sad & horrifying to watch.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

While I respect your choice....Not a chance for me. I will eat my veggies, even like growing them, but I will never give up meat until they pull the chicken leg from my cold dead hand.

              Digusting is right

People go to great lengths to produce such disgusting video. While it is good that we have the chance to see how abusive some humans can be, I’m sure we are intelligent enough to realize all production factories are not so inhumane.

Although some have no regard for anything but profit, much inhumanity depicted in this collection of snippets is not the norn.

It is great that most of us have the opportunity to choose. Personally, I enjoy good buffalo wings and succulent baby back ribs.
Friday evening I enjoyed a seafood platter with Fillet Mignon. I didn’t ask the broccoli if they enjoyed being cut and cooked. The potato came with sour cream and butter.

I suggest anyone arrange for an escorted tour of production facilities before assuming anything. You may find that the process is for economy and not for cruelty.
              Is it gruesome? Certainly!

The species most certainly are being produced for market and for the most part are not family pets. They are grown for marketing, killed for human consumption. Fish are snatched from life giving water, birds have heads looped off and cattle & hogs are shot and their throats get cut. Humans rarely eat meat while it is yet alive.

It is a shame animals suffer unnecessarily: on factory farms, in laboratories, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment industry.

I’ve never understood how sport killing could be justified. Killing for sport when it will be food, isn’t necessarily cruel IMO.
