A gunman walked into a nursing home in Carthage NC , which is a very small town near where mom & I lived and gunned down 7 patients mostly in wheelchairs and 1 38 yr old nurse.Most of the residents who were killed were in their 80"s& 90's. How awful, the residents couldn't defend themselves. No one would expect something like this to happen in a small town of apx 1200 people. It just hurts and is plain wrong. I knew some of the employees there, they had worked where Mom was. Who would ever think that you put your parents in a nursing or assisted home to be taken care of and then this happens. Say a prayer for the families and residents. shaggy
