You're on the lanai, sipping a drink and enjoying the sunset, and then it begins .....

Woman jailed for breaching Asbo by making loud sex noises

A wife ordered by a court to stop her noisy love-making was behind bars yesterday.

Caroline Cartwright, 48, is accused of flouting her anti-social behaviour order three times in 10 days.

The four-year order was imposed on April 17 and prevented Cartwright “making excessive noise”.

The conditions banned Cartwright from knocking, shouting, screaming or “vocalisation” that can be heard in neighbouring properties or outside the house.

It would be even worse if you were down at the grill, cooking dinner, when you suddenly realize the noise is coming from your unit.

I hate to say this but yes, I've experienced it.

The first time was in the first apartment we ever owned. The girl above us was a "screamer". Every Sat. night, her boyfriend would come over and the entertainment would begin.

Eventually, we got tired of it and I brought the stereo into our bedroom. I had qued up a song with the lyrics "She's easy" and had it ready to go. About the time she really got into it, I cranked the stereo up as loud as I could get it with the stereo speakers right up to our ceiling/her floor. They got the message.

About 15 years ago we had a very odd couple that lived next door to us. He would routinely find his way to jail for domestic violence and she'd routinely go down to jail to bail him out. In the summer, they'd leave their windows open. I guess she didn't care that everyone could hear her passionate cries all the way down the block. We were grateful when they moved.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

One night I was awakened by a woman making loud noises. At first I wasn't sure what it was. It turned out that it was coming from the balcony of a neighboring apartment. It only happened that once though. Maybe she didn't live there.

I am reminded of a time when I vacationed with my sweet Irish Mum and she mentioned at breakfast something about that "nice young couple that we met by the pool, the ones who are directly above us, must have been up moving furniture most of the night".

              True story.

We stayed at The Cove in S Yarmouth (Cape Cod) one summer week years ago and those walls are paper thin. I could hear the entire session; DH was warned!

Back in my younger days, 24 yr old to be exact I went out with a 30 yr girl for a short while and she was a screamer/grunter whatever you want to call it. She had her own appartment and insisted on leaving the windows open during lovemaking. In the end I was so embarrassed I dumped her for that reason.
Now things have gone full circle, I've been married 26 yrs and have to check if my wifes still awake during the act lol.

Well when I wrote my review of La Belle Maison, I decided to leave out the part about how I think the headboard of one room shouldn't necessarily be up against the same wall as the other... we were woken up very early one morning to a lot of... um... banging....

I figure that what goes around....

                          ok I better stop now

Long ago, when I was a young thing in New York, my roommates and I had neighbors who were the "fight and make up" type.

They would have a huge screaming fight that would end with one of them down on the street and the other one throwing clothing and household items out the window at the one downstairs. Then there would be a long, blessed silence. Then the one upstairs would buzz the other one back in (in every sense of the phrase ) and we would hear the whole makeup session.

In the morning, we would leave for work and there were piles of clothing on the sidewalk and out in the street.

Just so long as it doesn't turn into a solo act, you're still O.K. IMHO.
