Senseo safety defect - recall notice

I know a few of us got these coffee makers with the almost free deal last year. Mine broke a couple of months ago and I threw it in the garbage. If you still have one here's the info on the recall:

Made in China
and the FIVE digit number next to it - the first FOUR numbers are the date 07324
The form was very easy to fill out.....

Thanks for the heads up. My mfg date does not match any on the list, so my unit is not eligible for the recall. I like the unit, but don't use it everyday.

Thanks,for the information. Mine is one of the model numbers being recalled but an older unit that is still working well. Would have like to exchange it for a new unit but maybe the older units were better built. Use mine regularly and descale every so often.

Received my new coffee maker today via FedEx - I have to put the old one back in the bx and use the enclosed pre-paid mailing label
